The Wake was a festival hit around the world, playing at Palm Springs, Flickerfest, London, Tribeca, Salt Lake City and Dungog, to name a few. In 2010 it won the SBS Award at the St Kilda Short Film Festival and was nominated for an Inside Film Award for Best Short Film.
