MTV Music Awards 2008

Collider created the 2008 MTV Australia Awards campaign to bring a different feel from previous years. In 2008 MTV used notorious Australian Ned Kelly as the main theme of the show. This led to the creation of the three 'm', 't', 'v' characters in white helmets and suits half way between Kelly armour and medieval knights. Underpinning the campaign concept, the characters were made to 'compete' through a series of far fetched and outlandish events — each representative of the award categories. The events were filmed as an over-the-top, artful parody of the high speed film genre.
